Bitcoin Options Complement Futures

Options on CME Bitcoin futures launch on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 5 pm Central (for trade date January 13), and look to tie in nicely with the underlying futures contract from an astrological perspective. Plus, the launch occurs on one of the most astrologically powerful days of the year, making this new contract one to be reckoned with.

The biwheel in Figure 1 shows the horoscope chart for the launch of CME Bitcoin futures (and all-time price high) on December 17, 2017 at 5:00 pm in Chicago as the inner wheel. In the outer wheel is the launch horoscope of CME Bitcoin options on futures on January 12, 2020 at 5:00 pm in Chicago. This is a standard way that astrologers compare the connections between two different charts.

Grand Trine in Fire

The CME Bitcoin options chart connects nicely with that of its underlying futures contract, as illustrated by the A-B-C triangle. The position of the options launch Moon (A) is 20 degrees of Leo, which forms a Grand Trine in Fire with the positions of the futures contract launch Sun and Moon (B) at 26 degrees and 22 degrees, respectively, in Sagittarius as well as the position of Uranus at 24 Aries (C).

A Grand Trine indicates the greatest form of ease in any horoscope chart. The planets involved are 120 degrees apart from one another and are able to “see” each other easily so that they play nice together. Planets in a Grand Trine also work together well because they are all in the same element, in this case, Fire.

In Fire signs, these connected planets have a forcefulness and intensity about them that demands being noticed. The futures contract’s Sun and Moon in Sagittarius says that the contract aims to break new ground internationally; it’s Uranus in Aries says it is a disrupter of the highest order in breaking new ground. The new options contract Moon in Leo wants to make sure it is bold enough to play in the big leagues.

Also significant is that the Moon of the options contract is connected to the Sun and Moon of the futures contract. The two luminaries are the most important planets in any horoscope chart, and good connections between any two horoscopes typically involve the Sun/Moon of one chart figuring prominently with the other.

Powerful Launch Day

Sunday, January 12, 2020 is an extremely powerful day, and one that astrologers the world over have been anticipating for years. That’s because Saturn and Pluto—two planetary heavyweights—are exactly aligned (i.e., conjunct) in the sign of Capricorn; the last time this pair was conjunct was in 1982, the next time is in 2053. What’s more, the Sun and Mercury also are no more than a degree away (D).

Pluto entered the sign of Capricorn in 2008 with the mission of transforming the status quo of business and government by the time it moved on to Aquarius in 2024. Pluto upset the apple cart with the financial crisis, then shook things up further with the Brexit and US presidential votes in 2016. Saturn, the zodiac’s taskmaster, arrives at Pluto’s side on January 12 in order to calm the chaos and establish order so that Pluto can complete its job over the next four years.

The new CME Bitcoin options on futures contract carries this powerful energy as its birthright. With this first-trade horoscope chart, its role in the global financial community is one of responsible change-maker that could be front-and-center in a new way of doing business, particularly after Pluto enters Aquarius in 2024, when its job will be to transform technology.
